The All-Sport Team
Dr. Lanny Jamieson DC, MSc (He/Him)

Dr. Lanny Jamieson is the director of All Sport Health & Performance. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Alberta before moving to Portland, Oregon to study Chiropractic at the University of Western States, graduating in early 2013 as class valedictorian. He concurrently completed a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science, providing a unique background that focuses on optimization of a patient’s biomechanical function. During his time in Portland, Dr. Jamieson worked with local high schools as part of the athletic training staff, as well as medical staff for various sports events, including triathlons, volleyball and rugby tournaments. Dr. Jamieson is a certified Active Release Technique provider, as well as a provider of Graston technique. Sports have played a large role throughout Dr. Jamieson’s life, playing hockey, football and rugby growing up. He continues to be passionate about sports, whether it is treating athletes or taking time to go snowboarding, hiking or play a round of golf. He currently serves as the team Chiropractor for the Edmonton Clansmen Rugby Club.
Dr. Allan Jeffels DC (He/Him)

A native of Edmonton, AB, Dr. Jeffels graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1988. He has been an Active Release Technique instructor since 2000 and teaches extensively across Canada and the U.S.A. He is ART certified in Biomechanics , Advanced Nerve Entrapment and Active Palpation Technique. He is also a member of the ART Elite Provider Network & a KONKUSSION certified practitioner. He has worked with many Olympic, professional, and amateur athletes and actively serves as the Team Chiropractor for both the Edmonton Eskimos Football Club & the Edmonton FC Professional Soccer League Team.
Dr. Berkley Nowlan DC, MSc (She/Her)

Dr. Berkley Nowlan was born and raised in St.Albert, Alberta. She attended the University of South Dakota on an athletic scholarship and swam NCAA Division 1. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Biology then turned to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon to pursue her training as a chiropractor. During her years in Portland she earned three more degrees: Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology (summa cum laude); a Master's of Science in Sports Medicine (summa cum laude); and her Doctor of Chiropractic (summa cum laude). Dr. Nowlan has experience in treating high performance athletes from the field of swimming, baseball, football, soccer, hockey, wrestling, volleyball, golf, and rodeo to mention just a few. Dr. Nowlan is certified in full body ART and her experience as a nationally ranked, high performance athlete along with her training and education make her a valuable addition to the All Sport team of practitioners.
Dr. Francois DC, MSc (He/Him)

Dr. Francois Lacroix-Leung grew up in Edmonton and studied Kinesiology at the University of Alberta before moving to Portland, Oregon to pursue Chiropractic. Dr. Francois graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Doctor of Chiropractic program and also graduated with a Master’s in Sports Medicine from the University of Western States. Paired with his background in kinesiology and sport’s medicine, his strong biomechanical knowledge base allows him to pin-point dysfunctional movement and restore someone to their optimal self. Dr. Francois has a unique background as a rock climber, having started when he was a child; he has since travelled all over the world and competed at regional, provincial, and national competitions. Dr. Francois is also a certified Active Release Technique and RockTape provider. Dr. Francois is currently one of the head coaches for the Panthers Competitive Climbing Team and assistant chiropractor with the Clansmen Rugby club.
Patrick Dobberthien RMT (He/Him)

Certified in Ancient Thai Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Massage, Trigger-Point Therapy, Relaxation Massage Inspiring the Body to be its Best is the vision for wellness Pat brings to his work as a Therapeutic and Thai Massage Therapist and Teacher. An avid sports enthusiast, he understands the importance of keeping the body finely tuned. Therapeutic Massage inspires tense muscles to recover quickly and restores optimum function. With well over 3000 hours of formal western-style massage training, Pat’s reliable expertise in a wide range of techniques bring back proper functionality and pain free movement to his clients. In 2011, the quest to become a Yoga Instructor lead Pat to southern India where he lived and studied in an ashram, benefiting mind-body-and-soul from the guidance of many spiritual teachers. This life-changing adventure strengthened his resolve to focus his compassionate healing skills in service to others. Pat’s fascination with Eastern healing practices led him to Thailand as well, where he spent several months studying Ancient Nuad Bo Rarn Traditional Thai Massage. He earned his Registered International Practitioner and Teacher Qualifications in March, 2015 with 450 hours of advanced certification in Chiang Mai. Pat’s welcoming personal style encourages people to feel comfortable about the many ways massage can be a beneficial choice that produces direct and inspiring results on the path to greater well-being.
Kate Talbot Registered Acupuncturist (she/her)

Kate Talbot is a registered Acupuncturist and Herbalist since 2014 in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and worked with herbal medicine since 2010 and a member of the Alberta Herbalist Association since 2017. With a strong western medicine background, focusing in pharmacology and physiology, she has an unique ability to apply her understanding of western medicine to the practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine. The integration of these two perspectives allows her to integrate acupuncture and herbal medicine into the treatment of western medicine managed conditions. Kate Talbot offers professional, compassionate, and effective care for each of her patients. Graduating from MacEwan University’s Acupuncture Program in 2013, she completed an observer mentorship under Fulin Wang, PhD Epidemiology, MD (China), a 25+ year TCM practitioner. She believes in identifying the root causes of issues as opposed to treating only symptomatically. Managing root causes provides the best opportunity for the resolution of patients’ ailments. Believing in well-constructed treatment plans, with realistic expectations, and honesty are all integral parts of patient treatment, and contribute to her impressive rate of success with her patients.
Mika Ennis Registered Acupuncturist (she/her)

Mika Ennis, B.Sc., R. Ac. is a registered acupuncturist who focuses on the treatment of pain, injury and hormonal health. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Sciences, Mika began her career as an Environmental Scientist- but something was always missing. She longed to make a positive impact and have a spark of passion and connection while at work. Stemming from the anxiety and stress of feeling disconnected with her true calling and her current job, Mika began receiving acupuncture. The immediate physical and mental relaxation overwhelmed her and her new career path became clear. Mika then completed her Diploma of Acupuncture at MacEwan University in 2016. It is truly one of the best decisions she has ever made in her life. At the end of her studies, Mika had the opportunity to travel to Zhengzhou, China to further her studies and complete an internship at the Henan University of Chinese Medicine. Mika has become known for her compassion, intuitive attention to detail and dedication to her patients. She considers herself an eternal student and is always seeking answers to improve the quality of life of her patients. She has continually pursued post-graduate studies in sports injury, sciatica, shoulder injuries, advanced neck needling, advanced cupping techniques, hormonal imbalances, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum. When you don't find her running around outdoors with her husband and two kids, Mika can be found hugging a cat while reading a book or listening to podcasts on health and wellness or comedy.
